有关CCAA今年5月，2006年中国当代艺术奖评选在北京举行，这是CCAA成立以来的第四次评选。郑国谷和曹斐分获“中国当代艺术奖2006年大奖”和“中国当代艺术奖2006年最佳年轻艺术家”称号。荣誉获奖者为：陈劭雄、龚剑、洪浩、阚萱、李大方、刘韡、琴嘎、邱黯雄、周啸虎。评审委员会同时评选黄永砯为“中国当代艺术奖2006年杰出贡献艺术家”，以表彰他对中国当代艺术的长期贡献。 <chsdate     尽管CCAA在名义上是由中国当代艺术协会创立的，但所有知道这个奖的人都清楚，它就是由希克设立的，希克是它事实上的掌门人。希克在谈起这个奖的时候调子不低但又显得很朴实：建立CCAA的目的是在于鼓励那些具有创作力和特殊的艺术创作的天赋的艺术家。中国当代艺术协会也致力于通过配套的出版物和展览来推广当代艺术家和他们的作品，其主要目的在于社会了解并尊重中国艺术家们在当代文化中的建设性作用。     然而在积极因素的背后，一系列潜藏在底下的疑问也一并随着CCAA影响力的日益扩大而开始具体起来。这个以“中国”为大头衔命名的当代艺术奖，没有在中国人手下完成，却在一个“老外”手上成为了事实。这多少使众多“具有国籍”的中国艺术家和艺术服务者有点沮丧。事实上，从奖金本身来看，2年一次的3000美圆，折合成人民币2万多元，并不是一个天文数字，对于很多中国人来说甚至只是“小钱”，除此，具有希克一般或者比他更高的当代艺术学养的人，在中国也大有人在。可以这么认为：钱，中国人出得起；水准，中国人也具有。但为什么，中国艺术家、艺术服务者，就是没有做得成这个事呢？很显然，有能力做这个事和想做这个事，是两码事；有能力并且想做这个事、以及有没有环境做这个事，又是两码事。     中国的艺术家的山头意识、圈子意识，往往潜藏在“学术”的名义背后。这几乎是艺术圈内人所共知的秘密。这个秘密没有一个艺术家愿意承认。许多中国艺术家的“学术”面具，潜藏着的不仅是“话语权”，还有对“经济权”的渴望和期盼，这几乎也是艺术圈内人所共知的秘密。说到底，许多中国当代艺术家缺乏一种“建设艺术”的理念，诸多小山头分裂了艺术家们本可共同享有的合力。当然，艺术家们本能的聪明会让他们说：我们做出好作品，就是对艺术的建设。这就是问题所在：当人人都对圈子山头保持着迷恋、对“自我”保持着审慎的时候，一个“事件真空带”就凸现了。而希克——这个外来和尚，恰好踏进了中国的这个“事件真空带”，水到渠成地念起了他的经。我们甚至可以这样认为：CCAA的出现，是中国艺术家自己相互挤压的结果。     与此同时，在中国呆了20年之久的希克不说是深谙中国人的做事之道，也起码对“国情”略知一二。在最初，CCAA尚是婴儿的时候，他将它深藏着，不显山不露水。也许希克知道尽管他这个外来和尚念了这本经，但中国艺术家还是会对他“念得好不好”而加以指手画脚。比方说2006年之前某届CCAA大奖得主，一方面享受这个奖带来的实惠和荣誉时，一方面又表示出了对其的不屑，因为比起其他更多的机会（例如威尼斯双年展、卡塞尔文献展）来，CCAA确实显得有些“轻”。作为外人，我们确实很难理解中国当代艺术家身上常有的“得了便宜还卖乖”的脾性，不过，这脾性往往是通病。好在，希克这个“老江湖”知道这些，更何况他背后还有一批中国本土著名艺术家在弥补着他的知识盲点。     如果要现在就给CCAA下定论，恐怕为时过早。但这不妨碍我们多取几个视野来审视CCAA产生的和可能产生的价值。我们知道，以“奖”的方式推动某个领域的进程，在世界、历史范围内并不鲜见。诺贝尔奖给5个学科注入了强心剂几乎是世界公认的，英语文学里的布克奖、法兰西文学院颁发的龚古尔文学奖给英语、法语文学遴选出了一批优秀作品优秀作家的同时，甚至也树立了某种艺术标准。然而中国的事情就奇怪在，奖，不少，推进，却不多。CCAA在目前比起艺术界（中国）其他奖的更大优势是在：获奖艺术家因为极大程度地进入了希克这个收藏家的视野，因而也就获得了进入国际市场的极大可能性。从表面上看，这似乎极为功利和浮华，可是，通过这样的方式进入国际市场，很难说不是健康和有效的；而随着进入国际市场的中国艺术家越来越多，也很难说中国的艺术市场不会被有秩序地建立。   当然，我们也可以假想，假如希克突然有一天对这个奖不感兴趣了，那CCAA还会不会继续存在下去？这种可能性当然存在，并且它还牵涉到另外一个命题：为什么CCAA在运作中必须跟希克联系在一起？有没有可能，希克脱离开具体的事务，使CCAA的操作更加本土化？    我们难以得出答案。可是我们不难发现，在深入思考这些问题的时，会进入一个悖论：如果希克脱离开CCAA的具体事务而将这个奖交由一个中国的常设机构（例如某个美术馆、基金会）来打理，那会不会演变成跟中国的其他奖一样？而如果CCAA的命脉始终由希克把持，那一旦他失去了兴趣，CCAA必然无疾而终。话回过来说，由中国的常设机构打理CCAA，必定会使这个奖日常化、规模化，从评委的构成、评选的过程，都会得到极大程度的改善；而希克参与着呢，对年轻的中国当代艺术家来说也不啻是个机会。     一个奖，就是一件事。一件事，就需要推进力和事后效果。CCAA在目前呈现的冰山一角，或许更加值得我们对它保持着冷静而又不失热情的关注，就像保持着对中国当代艺术既热情又冷静的审视。    附：《拾贰：CCAA当代艺术奖获奖作品展》部分作品 <a
