soma - the beauty of the moon trough clouds -
by female israeli designer and artist ayala serfaty.
The exhibition features 24 unique pieces that investigate the relationship between glass and polymers. The material tissue that serves as the surface of her lighting objects is a combination of clear polymer web and glass veins, and looks like a fine membrane that enwraps them. serfaty called this a 'spoma', a term that in ancient greek means the physical body, with all its biological and vital dimensions.New lighting pieces were also exhibitted as part of 'euroluce', mobiles, pendant lights and wall lights saw ayala serfarty explore geometric forms.

Ceramic urn with a lifespan of 1-3 years. The thread gradually degrades causing the urn to drop, and smash as it hits the ground.

Bird feeders that briefly commemorate life while accelerating the disposal and distribution of remains, and a new product 'scatter'. It relies on the movement of a tree branch in the wind to disperse ash.

virus technique - hot and fluent crystal bubbles ...

... are pressed against the furniture.

In bursts of fire and smoke they melt together.

The furniture item has become a pedestal for the crystal object.

The objects belong together from now on.

The crystal object sits on the furniture like a parasite, a virus.

'morse' is a first of a series of rAndom international water light installations

Controlled by a pump, 'morse' continously sends out a neverending stream of tangible morse code in the form of coloured water impulses.

Max Lamb的Pewter Stool(白蜡凳子)

Thomas Ballhatchet(Central St. Martins College of Art and Design,中央圣马丁艺术设计学院)设计的hamster shredder-仓鼠碎纸机,这个设计已经在网上流传很久了,让仓鼠在轮子上跑动,产生的电能来碎纸,非常受人们欢迎,而且或许有可能生产。

  Demelza Hill(University of Brighton,布莱顿大学)设计的Snap and Dine,便携的餐具,让餐桌礼仪随时在你身边。

  Jon Harrison(Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College,白金汉郡奇特恩斯大学学院)设计的Light 360。

  John Slater(Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College,白金汉郡奇特恩斯大学学院)设计的Frank,一个简洁的桌子可以转变为一个有储藏空间和桌灯的台子。

Joie de Winter( Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication,雷文斯本设计与传播学院)设计的Dustbin and Brush,垃圾箱和毛刷。

  Moko Sellars(Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College,白金汉郡奇特恩斯大学学院)设计的Ceramiko,按其名称,应该是一个陶瓷的小凳,灵感来自于我们(特别是小时候)收集的那些小摆设。

  Anthony Dickens(Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College,白金汉郡奇特恩斯大学学院)设计的Origami Table,桌子的腿是三片一样的金属片穿插连接而成,不需要其他装配零件。
