上海证大现代艺术馆扩容改造通告
证大现代艺术馆自去年6月开馆以来，其迅猛发展的势头已使现有空间满足不了发展的需要。为适应当代艺术的发展，以更完善的艺术馆功能服务当代艺术，证大现代艺术馆自2006年10月16日起，将进行较大规模的空间改造，地址不变（浦东芳甸路199弄28号）证大现代艺术馆全面的改造工作将持续三个月之久，但室内改造将于11月13日起逐步完工，在此期间证大现代艺术馆暂停展览活动，因此给参观者带来的诸多不便，我们深表歉意。室内完工之后，约于11月17日恢复展览活动，具体展期我们将及时通知。改造后的证大现代艺术馆必将以更科学宽敞的空间、更完备的功能和更好的精神面貌为观众呈现更多的优秀展览和活动，希望证大现代艺术馆的新空间能给艺术家及参观者带来新的惊喜，也感谢国内外所有朋友对证大现代艺术馆的关注与支持！<place><placename>Shanghai</placename>

<placetype>Museum</placetype></place> of Modern Art Renovation NoticeSince the opening in June last year, the development of Zendai Museum of Modern Art has far exceeded the capacity of its current space.  As a consequence, Zendai MoMA at its current address is undergoing large-scale architectural renovation from <date month="10" day="16" year="2006">October 16, 2006</date> in order to meet the requirments of contemporary art.  The overall construction shall last approximately 3 month, but from Noverber 13, the interior construction will be completed gradually.  During this period the Museum will halt its exhibition programs.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  From November 17 we shall resume our exhibition programs, the actual dates of which will be announced later.The renovated Zendai MoMA will provide better facilities to present even more outstanding exhibitions and events to the public.  We hope the new space will bring pleasant surprices to artists and audiences alike.  We would also like to express our gratutide to all of you for your continuing support.
