倪小燕作品：《标靶》影像装置，两台投影仪面对面







在这个特定的空间里，以战争中最具代表性的声音--枪声为背景音乐，结合人脸的相应变化，分割的脸，被袭击得支离破碎的脸……
身临其境的感觉中，是别人成了我的标靶？还是我成了别人的标靶？尝试做标靶的感觉，是新鲜，是刺激，还是？

Title: Target
In this specially space, the sound of guns, the most representative sound in a war, will be made as the background music. Going with it, faces are changing, being segmented, torn to pieces, etc. Being personally on the scene, am I the others’ target, or does I aim at others? Try to experience as others’ target, is it novel, exciting, or anything else?

展厅中一处较空阔地带中央摆放一张床，白色的褥子、枕头，一个身着白色睡衣女孩在白色中间鼾睡(服了两颗安眠药)，从展览开幕前睡到自然醒来结束。地面撒满红白各半双色的胶囊药丸。墙面有大的霓虹灯标题：I will leave you in due time。从开幕起我用相机记录若干睡眠时的状态，女孩醒来离开后立即将照片展示。作品完成。
Introduction:
In the center of the display, there is a bed with white sheet and white pillow. A girl wearing white pajama is lying on the bed in deep sleep. The performance will end when the girl wakes up. (She has taken two sleeping pills) The floor around bed is littered with sleeping pills（half white and half red capsules）. Pink neon lights forms a large sign on the wall, ‘I will leave you in due time’. The artist will use his camera to take pictures of the sleeping girl at different times. The resulting photos will be displayed immediately as the girl wakes up, and at the same time, the show will end.

材料：
整套的床及白色的褥子、穿白色睡衣的模特、红白药丸胶囊、相机、照片、霓虹灯管等。
Materials employed:
Bed, white sheet, white pillow, a human subject wearing white pajama, pink neon lights,sleeping pills ( half white half red capsules), camera, photos.
